Excerpts:

Fairies Breath

Down by the pond where the geese can hide
And things take their natural course
Where the bugs are thick and the frogs can click
And everyone can feel his source

And the remnant fog walks the mirrored lake
And the moon enhances all that’s touched
There’s a grass by the side, where the fairy reside
That is painted with and ethereal brush

To others it’s a weed, ‘cause it’s full of seed
But to me it speaks of baby’s breath
When it covers the ground it can ring you down
To your knees to hear what’s being said

For one so frail, it can hold a cloud
And when it minds to let it go
I stand humbled in awe when I see what I saw
And look around and see the ground aglow.

Whisked

In the balmy scented breeze on a summer night
When the iridescent moon was blue
I was whisked out the window like a sudden thought
Never noticed if I want or I aught.

It was early in the morning when the world was still
All the lights in the houses were out
There were only fainted shadows of the trees and ground
And my breathing was the only sound

There were glimpses of my lovers, distant memories
And I knew that I was not alone
But the breeze intermingles and my breathing ceased
And I couldn’t tell which was my own

All my leaves rustled loudly and my curtains blew
And my hair was dampened by dew
I was whisked by the breeze and given memories
And reflected being with you

There is no more detachment, no more all alone
I am all I could want to be
In the moon in the breeze I was total again
I was lost in the lines of ley

I can come, I can go, I can gather myself
I can be what ever I may
I can pull it together on a balmy night
And remember when I looked your way.
